This British classic was purchased from the original owner in 1980 by me and has always been garaged and treated with the respect a motorcar like this deserves. It currently has about 90K gentle miles on it and although it has been driven it has never been abused or raced.
The engine and front end were rebuilt at 75K miles.
The interior is in excellent condition with no cracks or splits in the vinyl and new carpets complement the cockpit.
The exterior also is in excellent condition with NO frame or body rot. There are one or two very small paint blisters showing. It has a new top with a very small minute tear in it. It has 4 Michelin red stripe tires including a spare all in good condition. The original paint is Emerald Green with white pin striping and is very presentable.
It has the original factory luggage rack. It has a new battery, relatively new exhaust system and new rubber rear end seals.
The carburetors were rebuilt last year by Joe Curto at his New York facility.
This car needs nothing except to be appreciated and driven. Most everything is original except for the carpets and top. As I mentioned earlier the paint is original and presents an excellent patina.
Because of the condition, history and originality of the car I’m asking a reasonable $10,000 but would prefer any potential buyers to look at the car before deciding.
